Happy Memorial Day!! I've had a lazy weekend, not doing much, but getting a little crafting done! This is a new week for the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge and here's the design for this week.

When I saw the sketch for the first time all that was going through my head for a plan was a pregnant stomach. It was hard for me to wrap my brain around and get off that train of thought and come up with something. LOL But here's what I decided on.

I got my Silhouette Cameo in last week and it's a dream come true. I decided to do a page in Taylor's scrapbook with the challenge sketch for this week. Everything was cut with my newest machine. It has great detail and the designs you can get are seemingly endless! I still plan to use my Cricut things- I've got way too much invested in them to just quit, but for now my newest toy is taking center stage!! Be sure and check out all the other variations of this sketch at http://atlanticheartschallenge.blogspot.ca/

  3. Great layout to show off your little cutie in boots! Does a Silhouette Cameo do both the cutting and the embossing? I think I am going to have to go research this machine now!

  4. Not the embossing- I did that with my Cuttlebug. I just folded in the rays and embossed it all, then folded the rays back out and with the design it wasn't too noticeable. The Cameo is amazing! It makes great intricate cut. The tan background is a perfect example of that. Not tears or anything with those tiny squares! And the pens are great that come with it! I made another layout and used a silver pen on a light purple cardstock and filled it with an intricate design and it was like using patterned paper.
